Bio

Producer Stoc blends the soulful samples of boom pap with the modern day Hip Hop and Trap instrumentation.  With loud horns, heavy bass, and funky vibes over trap snares and hats , he creates his own swing he calls 'Gully Soul'.  Hailing from Baltimore, with roots in San Diego, you can hear that these cities' cultures are an influence in his sound.  Other influences for Stoc are  producers  like  Just Blaze and Rza, as well as a cast of Soul music old and new.  " I spend more time listening to music then making beats " the producer often says.  The crate digger's expertise in finding and flipping  samples caught the ear of Lx3 Artist L-Roc .  The two connected in 2019 and have since collaborated on L-Roc's 'Luxury Trap' and '10x10' .  Joining the Lx3 Label  has shined a spotlight on Stoc 's unique style of production.  Upcoming releases with the Lx3 Label  artists are underway, as well as collaborations with digital artist Sheeba Maya.  Stoc attributes much of his success to his long time Hip Hop brothers 'The Life is Tough Band'.  He looks to leave his stamp on Hip Hop with his Gully soul sound.
